FamilyTree is a genealogy research tool that allows you to bring all your data while visiting archives or relatives. It lets you easily browse through your family tree in a graphical view and add information on the go.

Designed for and runs on the Sharp Zaurus 5500 PDA (and quite likely on later models as well). Previously on sale at handango.com, now available for free.

Features and Highlights:

• Overview of individuals with the most important information displayed. A unique 'Anchor' feature lets you quickly find and sort on direct descendants and ancestors.
• Friendly and full-featured editor of indivuals lets you select ancestors and spouses from drop-down lists. Multiple marriages and source records are supported.
• Support for up to 2500 individuals per database - number of family databases limited only to available memory in PDA.
• Graphical view of family tree lets the user quickly move between individuals by clicking on spouse, parents and children.
• Import and export of standard Gedcom V5.5 files are supported. Note - not all Gedcom information is supported - some data might be lost if you export to FamilyTree and reimport to a desktop genealogy application.
